About
Mia Schmallenbach, of German and Sri Lankan origin, grew up in Indonesia
and has spent the last six years in Brussels working on a masters degree
in industrial design at the National School of Visual Arts in La Cambre. She
switched to a full design course after completing a diploma in screen
printing, a natural development of her longstanding fascination with design and environment. -
Awards
Publication of the book “101 ideas to save our world starting at home” in english and indonesian.
First prize for the competition of the Fifth European Award for Cutlery Creation in 2006
Contract with Deglon SA for the
production of the winning kitchen knife set. -
