More than communicating visually, my goal as a designer is to evoke an emotion from my audience. It is in this way that I hope to cross cultural and language barriers. I spent a good portion of my college career studying and traveling abroad, trying to better understand the reasons people react the way they do. Though language tends to act as a divider, emotions hold to be universal, and universal design implies massive change.
