In order to create an package or cover art for something, it is important to understand the story behind it, that is no different for films.
In this fictional film, the story goes that there is a special wishing well that supposedly works. The main protagonist doesn’t believe this to be true and makes a wish to grow up with her favorite band and realizes something’s gone array.
The story revolves around the girl of the well and the girl who made a wish, seemingly separate.
In order to convey this, I used my own pictures to create a layout of the DvD cover, using an indistinguishable coin to split the front cover of the two girls.
I tried to make it look as much like a DvD cover as possible while at the same time, creating something that would best represent the story.
