“You’ve got to find what you love,” Jobs says.
A former FA artist, Meng Hau stumbled into the world of creativity and has since been fortunate to work with some really good mentors.
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.”
For the last 14 years, he has had stints at Henen, Ad Planet Group, Leo Burnett and DDB Worldwide before landing his current position at Dentsu.
With a knack for crafting effective integrated campaigns such as Singapore Kindness Movement “Kindness LIVE” and Action for Aids “Love Karaoke”, both of which have gone on to garner Gold Effies, Meng Hau has also earned his fair share of creative awards spanning Cannes, Spikes, Adfest, AWARD, One Show and CLIO among others.
Still, he derives the most satisfaction from producing work that wins new businesses and is happy to count Tiger Beer, RSAF, SilkAir, Changi Airport, HPB and Eu Yan Sang as some of the clients he has impressed.
