I hope to implement a more effective housing model in Portland for people transitioning from a life of homelessness and addiction to a residential environment. By engaging participants in the process of: recovery, self care, relational building, community engagement, occupational therapy and individual ownership of place through building their own dwellings participants will perpetuate their recovery process increasing the opportunity for attaining long-term housing and employment solutions.
