Grahamstown Lifestyle Editor Editor of the Lifestyle section of the publication, which appears both in print and online. This involved managing over 20 student writers and editing every article before being submitted for publishing. It also includes designing the layout of the lifestyle page every fortnight and effectively organising and leading a group of student journalists and initiating story angles for them. This is done through diary meetings where pitches are made and angles are developed. I also write articles for the paper on a regular basis.

Student Reporter
Grahamstown, South Africa
Jul 2015 - Jul 2015
This involved working in the print section of Cue and writing approximately two stories a day on average, for the twelve day period of the National Arts Festival. This was an excellent learning opportunity, as I had to pitch two stories everyday in our diary meetings, requiring me to stay on top of news and the programme. I also gained skills in writing reviews and extending my knowledge on the arts.
