My name is James McMahon and I’m a graduate student of BSc. (hons) in Architectural Technology at DIT Dublin School of Architecture Bolton Street. The architectural technology course promoted the link between the architectural technologists and architecture students to work alongside each other in other to replicate the working environment between the two disciplines. Studying at Bolton Street I have learned the importance of communication both verbally and graphically. During the four years I have specialized in AutoCAD, Autodesk Impressions, Sketch Up, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign. I have also gained knowledge of programs such as Revit, Illustrator and Therm. During the Summer months I spent my time traveling around Europe and teaching woodwork in the US. During this time I have seen many great places and expanded my woodworking skill set as well as improving my communication to others. On this page you can find some samples of my work and if you would I to contact me for more information please email me at james.mcmahon2@student.dit.ie. Thank you.
