About

Coming from a multidisciplinary design background my work ranges from web design and development to motion graphics, print, identity and anything else that can get my hands on. I pride myself in the use of modern technologies, semantic markup, simple yet visually stimulating layouts, and clearly communicated content.

Technical expertise include cross-browser & standards compliant (X)HTML & CSS, advanced Actionscript 3, jQuery, CMS development, search engine optimization, analytics, testing and debugging. Coming to life through Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Flex, Dreamweaver, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign and Fireworks among other 3-D modeling specific applications.

Currently I am truly enjoying creating dynamic sites using PHP/MySQL, Actionscript 3 & XML and have a great interest in Adobe Flex (now Flash Builder) and taking my knowledge in AS3 and PHP to create something amazing.

Ideally my next position will constantly challenge these skills in creating rich and engaging user experiences. Ultimately moving forward as a designer, developer and young professional.

Description ::

In the start-up environment you often find yourself playing a number of valuable roles. Working closely with the Manager of Product Development, we introduced, maintained and implemented the encoding/transcoding, uploading and backup process.

During which time we tested the Industries top video encoding software and a variety of hardware configurations. (Result, 48TB RAID storage configuration, 24-Quad-Core processors on Solaris Box running Rhozete Carbon Coder uploaded to a FLV RTMP Server).

Additionally I was responsible for the production of flash components, banners and customized/branded video players for partner sites in collaboration with companies including; Amazon, TiVo and The Weather Channel. Utilizing social media outlets I produced and distributed 20 branded teaser videos accumulating 275,000+ in 3 month period.
