Vilanova, Paulo Volmar Mattos, was born in 1970, Porto Alegre (RS). A former postman, illustrator, cartoonist, he started drawing at Atelier Livre and SENAC in Porto Alegre. He improved his stroke in courses with Edgar Vasques and Vayá.
