Senior DesignerSunvillaFeb 2019 - Present (5 years 9 months)Lead all design efforts for in-store and dropship patio products for one of the largest retailers in the world.
Manage the entire product development lifecycle; from ideation and design, though all stages of sampling sampling and then final photography.
Implemented new design and sample tracking strategies, allowing our team to triple the number of samples managed at a time.
Designs and products I managed played a key role in doubling overall sales for my account in just over 2 years. -
Furniture DesignerAtlanta, GADec 2017 - Feb 2019 (1 year 2 months)• Developed multiple designs for the SMFD furniture line, including the award winning Arciform Sofa and Arc Bar stools.
• Work closely with clients and fabricators to create accurate renderings and technical drawings that capture design intent and allow for accurate and efficient fabrication.
• Create CAD and technical drawings for custom residential furniture and large scale commercial projects, including FFE and architectural mill-work for restaurants and offices. -
Jr. Furniture DesignerATLeisureAtlanta, GAMay 2014 - Dec 2017 (3 years 7 months)• Design and develop a wide range of products for outdoor living, including patio furniture, fire pits, lighting and other accessories.
• Research trends, materials, and technology in order to develop products that fulfill emerging market opportunities.
• Develop CAD models and technical drawings for design refinement, improved containerization, prototype sampling and mass manufacturing.
• Frequent travel to China to work closely with engineers and oversee sampling team to refine designs for presentation to clients.
• Design packaging and layouts for instruction manuals, boxes, color labels and hang tags.

Awards
Worldwide design and lifestyle TV network, Luxe.tv, created a video segment highlighting some of my design work including the Wood Lamp Series, the Thought Shelves and the Soundwave Speakers.

Slope Bowl and Stack | Serve have been selected by the Savannah College of Art and Design to be photographed for promotional use and are currently on display in the Building Arts and Ceramics galleries, respectively.
