Mary Beth studied art at the Université de Montpellier France. She travelled extensively throughout Europe, which had a profound effect on her artistically. Currently living in Southern Arizona, Mary Beth is one of 24 artists chosen by The United States Mint as a coin and medal Master Designer in their first ever national search in 2004. This opportunity finds her designing coins and medals specifically requested by the U.S. Mint, including the State Quarter Program.
Mary Beth has exhibited her work in several fine art shows and has received numerous awards in the Delaware Valley, including The Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Annual in Philadelphia, and The Brandywine Arts Festival in Wilmington. Her art is also internationally licensed and appears on decorative wall plaques, photo album covers, decorative storage boxes, memo boards, and others. These products are available in large chains such as Target, Kohl’s , Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Linens ‘N Things. Her prints have also been seen on movie sets and television shows nation-wide, as well as in stores and catalogs internationally. Her delicate details in watercolor and acrylic reveal her love for both the floral subjects, and the art of painting. She sometimes also uses her long-time skill in computer design to mix with her paintings, especially for pieces that require text in the design, for a look that cannot be achieved with painting alone.
