About
Marta was born in Bergamo, class 1983. Bachelor graduation in 2005 at the Politecnico di Milano – Product Design Faculty – III Faculty of Architecture, and master’s degree in Product-Service design in 2008. After graduation she takes up employment in the digital services’ world, working in an online software developing company. Meanwhile she continues to work as a product and communication designer for BaseB Metriquadricreativi, based in Milano Bovisa. She approaches lighting design in 2010 in a private company that provides an internal lighting design studio. In 2019 she co-founds Studio Switch.
In 2023 she becomes an independent Lighting Designer, working on her own.

Our projects mainly provide:
- positioning in scale plan (Autocad 2D 2004+)
- support on data sheets
- lighting engineering / calculation using specific software (3D reconstruction and calculation with photometric curves - Dialux)
- economical offer
My experience with Photoshop let me also simulate light effects by image manipulation (using Photoshop), of course after an accurate calculation (by dialux).
I also cooperate with the marketing office for image manipulation, layouts, 2D graphics and internal logos.
