About
Mark Palmquist Design is a studio dedicated to designing timeless furniture and innovative, environmentally friendly products. Mark Palmquist was previously a product engineer, designer, developer and manager at BDI for almost 3 years before resigning to start his own design consultancy. Before that, Mark was Manager of Product Development at Nomadic Display, Inc for several years and helped launch an entire new product line, Nomadic Platinum®. Mark studied Scandinavian furniture design in Copenhagen, Denmark. He studied Mechanical Engineering, but switched to and majored in Industrial Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mark has over 12 years of experience in the furniture design industry and 7 years of experience in the exhibit design industry. He designs products using recyclable materials, and furniture that will last for generations.
