Franklin County Children Services National Social Work Month 2015
For the National Social Work Month promotion, I contacted directors, managers and supervisors in the Kinship, Adoptions, Intake, Volunteers and Ongoing departments and asked them to identify people who would be interested in participating in a project that would be featured on the website, Facebook and TV monitors. I then met with 16 people and asked them why social work is important to them and their favorite things about their jobs. I created a PowerPoint video and posted it on the monitors at each Children Services site as well as the FCCS website. I made daily posts featuring employees on Facebook. The posts had a combined reach of 19,813 people.
