Hi! I'm an amateur mobile photographer, thank you for visiting my profile.
My name is Maria Correia. My interest in photography was sponsored by my uncle and aunt, who, at a time where I was very sick during my teenage years, offered to host me and pay for a Photography Course in Pato Branco, PA, Brazil where they live. I borrowed their camera at the time, and I have never been able to buy one for myself since. Luckily my cousin, a successful Marketing Director in my hometown, guided me through the world of Mobile Photography. He and his friend, coincidentally my former Photography professor later when I went to college, created a mobgraphy exclusive magazine, NoMirror Mag. I wasn't able to continue college, as my family and I all moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Even if I haven't been able to retake my studies, I have continued taking pictures with my phone. I love experimenting with different editing apps and styles. Everything has been mostly on hold since the pandemic started since most of what I ended up taking pictures of were random everyday things I found while going to work or simply walking around. My goal is to slowly and safely, but surely, start going out again so I can reconnect with this passion of mine.
