Margaretha Samuels

I am a Final Year BA Product Design student at Coventry University. Last year I successfully completed a year long placement at a Vega Design who are a small homeware design company in Darmstadt, Germany. While working there I took part in all stages of the design process from the initial design idea to 2D technical drawings ready for manufacturing. Before my placement I had already gained several different technical skills from my previous two year at university including Rhino, KeyShot, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel , Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design. I was able to apply these skills to the professional work place and made massive improvement as well as learning new skills such as 3D printing using Makerbot. I have a keen interest for homeware design and plan on taking my carrer into this industry once I have graduated.
