This is a very prestigious boarding school with more than 100 years of history. San Jose School is situated in the town of Villafranca de los Barros in the southwest of Spain. Students come from all over the world and go on to the most prestigious universities.
The design of this new logo is uses the main elements of the original shield but in a more synthetic, modern and abstract way designed to carry the image of the school into the 21st century, giving it a simplified, modern and commercial design, but at the same time respecting the heritage and prestige of the school. It was vital to include the school motto “iustus ac fidelis” (“just and faithful”). This slogan is the foundation of what this institution stands for and the basis on which it was built, so it was necessary to give the motto a more visible presence in this new design. The original shield* has been maintained for certain specific institutional purposes.
