Founded in 1987, SOFIEX or the Sociedad de Fomento Industrial de Extremadura (the Industrial Development Corporation of Extremadura), was created by the Government of Extremadura (Spain) for the purpose of promoting the industrial sectors that were considered priorities for regional economic development, incentivising the creation of new businesses and taking equity stakes in viable projects, in conjunction with partners and private-sector investors. In 2011 SOFIEX merged with two other corporations and is now know as Avante Extremadura.
I won this contract for the second consecutive year after coming up against fierce competition.
I was responsible for the design, layout and artwork of both the printed version and the digital interactive version (shown here) which could be distributed on DVD and USB Flash drive. For this job I chose to use Apple Keynote and then exported a copy to QuickTime in HD so that it could be viewed on both MAC and PC.
