Marc Lipkind's extensive career has been fused with passion and creativity.
Upon graduation in 1989, his career started in production art serving National accounts such as Family Dollar, Ames, Fisher's Big Wheel & Value City. His enthusiasm proved valuable and was shortly after promoted to Art Director & Manager. In 1991, Marc transformed a small art dept into a hub for local entrepreneurs seeking unique, specialized design for their individual ventures. This lead to creative work with Original Brands Design, et al, giving experience in product development and marketing for national retailers such as American Eagle Outfitters & Britches and also the design of the company's trade show booth. Marc received top honors in a reader's poll in "Impressions" magazine. Marc took these skills to OPI in 1996 designing private label & novelty products for national Resort & Hospitality groups focusing on outdoor recreational sports. Marc relocated to DC in 1998 and blended the creative, production and sales depts to develop & manufacture hard & soft goods for clientele as Smithsonian, US Postal Museum, Spy Museum, GW's Mount Vernon Estate & nat'l airport & resort concessions. In 2008, he created a wholesale division & the company's profit margins grew to unparalleled levels. Strategic product R & D, positioned marketing, sourcing, importing & strong corporate identity gave unprecedented expansion. Marc has successfully created, developed and managed numerous existing and start up departments and strategic creative solutions for multi-medium corporate identity, branding, advertising & marketing campaigns and apparel. Marc's seasoned experience has been distinguished with programs for clients such as: American Eagle Outfitters, CNN, CVS, Smithsonian, Family Dollar and Mount Vernon; National airport retailers: Paradies, Hudson News, Color Ink, Travel Traders, and Faber; and Specialized Programs for Collegiate, High Schools and resorts nationwide.
