Efface. 8.5"x11" Charcoal and Acrylic on Coarse Molding Paste.
Epoch. 12”x12” Charcoal and Pastel on Toned Paper. This is the first piece belonging to a triptych that I created as a result of the unexpected death of my aunt. It was drawn with the intention to evoke a reflection of the passing of time, and its relation to life and death.
Stemma. 12”x12” Charcoal and Pastel on Toned Paper. Since this is the second artwork from my collection, it represents the idea of the relation between the old and young and the connection of life and death attached to the human condition.
Quietus. 12”x12” Charcoal and Pastel on Toned Paper. The title of the last piece from this series means final stroke because it encapsulates the main focus of the triptych: the comparison between the broken and whole as well as life and death.
