*Co-design and execute multiple programs including the main collection, layette program, co-branded organic basics program and new design ventures consistant with the brand image. *Manage the design process for over 300 skus per season as well as manage the production process for another 200 skus. *Research new silhouettes, color palette, design details, trims and themes for new collection. *Merchandise each season's collection of sweaterknits, woven tops and bottoms, jerseys, speciality fabrics and accessories. *Understand the design calendar and effectively manage and direct the design team to meet calendar goals. *Create and oversee that all design components, fabrics, graphic and design details are correctly identiï¬ed within the tech packs. *Discuss creative director's vision for each season and actively research new styles, details, colors and trends to support it. *Communicate feedback from both wholesale and retail sales teams to design department and analyze previous season's numbers as starting point for designing new collection. *Aid creative director in giving graphic artist direction for prints and graphics in apparel lines as well as in all marketing graphics, email blasts and in-store signage. *Manage freelance designer's schedule and meet for ï¬ttings of each style and oversee any freelance graphic designers to ensure ï¬nal product meets end goal. *Create and carryoutt all ï¬at sketches, linesheets, tech packs and art packs for each style in developement and production. *Communicate daily to overseas factories on all aspects of development and timing of salesman samples as well as on current production. *Responsible for communicating the CEO's desired terms and production schedule with factories. *Actively search for new manufacturing opportunities and present them with our product and needs. *Coordinate and manage each collection's photoshoot from...

with fabric mills, sampling center, printers and pattern maker regarding timing and logistics for sampling and production. *Work with reps, wholesale buyers and third party sellers to continue adequate ï¬ow of goods. *Aid senior designer in selection of fabrics, trims, and notions for development and production. *Active in merchandising line's solid and printed color ways. *Advise Senior Designer/Brand Owner on interpreting trends and translating into brand image.
