Focus on the annual development of aesthetics and layouts for 4-7 new stores, 20 remodels, numerous department re-inventions and new formats including convenience and market format stores. Develop a look that is consistent with the Meijer brand and immersive for shoppers and team members. Work with Construction Project Managers to ensure designs are producible and implemented properly. Lead and direct Strategic Vendor Partners focused in Architectural Design, Graphic Design, Fixture Production and Signage Installation. Collaborate with internal business partners including Merchandising, Operations, Procurement, Asset Protection, Real Estate, and Marketing. Lead the creative development for major initiatives including a new interior design package for Meijer Super Centers, new interior design and branding for Meijer Convenience Stores, and developing a new, urban, small footprint market format store (Bridge Street Market, Woodward Corner Market, Capital City Market, Rivertown Market Detroit). Develop graphic and interior design concepts for Meijer corporate facilities.

Katie Brown is a celebrity licensed Own Brand carried exclusively by Meijer from April 2010 through December 2015. Develop original, unique products for Tabletop, Kitchen Textiles, Décor, Bedding, Patio Furniture, Garden Décor and Holiday Decor. All products developed exclusively for Meijer. Meet with vendors to ensure designs are producible through their manufacturing capabilities. Meet with Katie Brown to review artwork and product assortments.
