The apparel Industry is one of many colors, brands, design enthusiast, design visionaries - all to convey one's image, freedom of artistry through personality, and understanding of how to conform to one or all of these desires through clothing.
The true performers are the Brands birthed into the perfect essence of time, effective appeal, and perfect positioning. Behind the scenes are the true artists, the engineers of design, aesthetics, creativity, emotional display and equilibrium to balance ultimate timing.
My experience has led me to view each aspect of fashion, from attending an instrumental institution named the Fashion Institute of Technology - New York City, NY. Whereby I was able to become enthralled by a thriving apparel industry, which one could hear the buzz of sewing machines while walking down a city block inside the fashion district. I have worked side by side with many designers, Cynthia Rowley, Josie Natori, Kathryn Peters ( Kayon Corp) Traveled the globe, Hong Kong, India, China, Korea, Colombia, Mexico, Canada to name a few, all while encompassing & embracing the scope of manufacturing.
I have mastered the art of fit- form -function and can swear by 2nd fit approvals, ..Protos' if you must. Grading is my essential favorite tool. Quality is my natural asset, while balance is sure to follow. Textiles and their performance are essential to the design creativity, and this is how I know product development in an extremely well respected manner. Testing and the proper thread indexing are also my key areas of quality assurance.
I have managed teams and groomed them to success in handling the entire Technical design processes, Patterns, and effective communication to domestic and overseas partners= who are ultimate keys to the business' success. I am very seasoned, and gifted with 17 years dedication to a masterful art called "Apparel Production & Management".
