Working within the R&D team creating control surfaces, calibration instruments and on-set equipment for the film industry. Took 5 products to market from conception to production. Involved at all stages of design; user research, brief creation, concept design, prototyping & testing, interaction design, mechanical engineering, product visualisation, production set-up and process improvement. Experience of a broad range of production processes and manufacture liaison.

Part of the engineering analysis group supporting the design teams. Developed tests to asses the suitability of a vacuum motor for certain projects.

Created a set of ideation tools for use in school and business workshops. Also provided industrial design guidance for SME’s and delivered a basic CAD course.

Involved at each stage of the design process including: concept visualising, model making, product development, client presentation and manufacture liaison.
