Good design and furniture building; these are my passions and my career. I'm predominantly a maker with a keen eye for detail and simplicity, but also a creative minded individual willing to push boundaries and experiment. Turning my hand to woodwork, metal work, sketching and many more I've been able to create many interesting and quality pieces. My projects, both academic and professional, have ranged from restoring bicycles to experimenting with material-interplay. In my spare time I hone my craft and drawing skills and spend a lot of time immersing myself in my surroundings by photographing the world as I see it.
I'm currently studying at the University of the West of England for a degree in Creative Product Design (BSc) with hopes of undertaking a 2nd year placement. I embarked on this course after spending five valuable years in retail, learning real world skills as well as learning who I am and who I want to be. These five years have given me a strong foundation, both in terms of real world skills and practical skills, allowing me to focus wholly on gaining the best I can from UWE.
