"Imagine a world"...
Most people can do this just fine. So let's make it a bit more difficult by adding things to this world.
Let's add birds and bees, flowers and GIANT sky scraper like ‘trees’ where whole villages live in...
Now imagine yourself explaining this to your colleagues. They might not have any trouble imagining the bees. Unless, unfortunately for you, one of your colleagues is a bee expert and wants to know if you're talking about bumble bees or Africanized killer bees.
However, let's say they can imagine the bees’ just fine. Imagining the birds you just described could pose more of a problem. As the diversity in bees is something only an expert would pay attention to. It doesn't take that much expertise knowing the difference between a chicken and an eagle. And as your colleagues are wondering what kinds of birds are you talking about? It's likely that their image and feeling of your world will start to differ. As a platypus might not give the same cute feeling as a baby chick.
Not wanting to confuse your colleagues any more. You continue your story, and decide to talk about the flowers in great length and detail. Your colleagues now get a pretty clear picture of what you mean. And this seems to sooth their confusion. Now they just seem to be getting bored instead, as your talking takes too long.
Realizing that different types of birds can be already causing confusion. Just imagine how much confusion there will be when you start talking about the:
"GIANT sky scraper" thing...
This is where the power of animations comes in handy. As a picture is already worth well over a thousand words, an animation is that power times 24 frames a second.
At Underdog Animations we bring a message people by creating alternate realities to captivate their attention. And our secret lies in them remembering these messages long after we let them go free.
At Underdog Animations we create:
- 2D animations
- (Interactive) Explainimations
- Music clips
