I wanted to design a product that solves the problems of lost personal items. Using the existing software such as GPS Tracking, quad-band GSM chips and triangulation. My product will be a device called ‘TRAK:ME’ that enables you to discreetly slip into your possessions. It will then be able to update the owner of its location via an app for smartphones. How will TRAK:ME work? Inside the product will be a quad band GSM chip which will use the system triangulation in order to attain the current position of the tracker. Having this feature in the product allows you to track your selected item anywhere in the world without trouble. Using the TRAK:ME app on the smartphone also enables you to have more than one TRAK:ME device. Each device has its own 9 digit ‘T’ number. Once you’ve signed up to the app using your email address you can simply add the ‘T’ number of your device to activate it.
