• coordinate team efforts and timelines together with Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Plant Logistics within Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.
• manage, coordinate and train the Packaging teams reporting to me, based in Mexico and Colombia (4 team members).
• negotiate and coordinate suppliers within the Region and abroad.
• coordinate with France and USA Labs all the compatibility tests required to ensure the packaging materials and formula interaction.
o Main Achievements:
• over 90% of the components used by the end of 2017 came from local or regional suppliers, which meant cost and time benefits to the Group as well as Sustainability benefits such as Carbon Footprint reduction vs importing components from Europe or USA.
• integration of Vogue's Packaging team, transitioning their processes from a local family-owned business model into L'Oréal standars while keeping their low cost model.
• Deo Sticks OBAO and Bi-O packaging development (2015)
• Skin Ganier Big Jars (200ml and 400ml) packaging development (2016)
• L'Oréal Paris toners and lotions new image (2017)
• Just during 2016, 10tons savings in plastics and 36tons savings in aluminum due to packaging optimizaton strategies.
