Living at home, I was a curious child; everything seemed to fascinate me for hours. On the times when my sister came home for a week or when I went to her place to be with her, it was my sister who influenced me to be an artist of some sort. The times she did her art pieces and gave them to my parents to hang on the wall, I would find myself looking at them for long periods of time and wondering how she did what she did. Those art projects she drew made me want to learn how to do the same. It was a turning point in my life and to my parents’ life when she died. Every time that I see her art, it makes me thankful that I chose to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in visual art with a concentration in graphic design at Pensacola Christian College.
