About
I am currently working for National Museums Liverpool where I have designed multiple large-scale exhibitions and marketing material for a wide audience. I have an abundance of experience in design & production of print media using Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to name but a few. I specialise in print design and have particular skills in print management allowing me to take a project from briefing stage to the final product. I have worked on small scale corporate identity to large scale stadium branding and museum exhibition design so I can turn my hand to any job big or small! My brand is creativity, bold and engaging. My designs are fun! typically colourful and I'm always looking to push the boundaries, do things differently and try new things.
I am self-taught in Google Sketchup which gives me the ability to design both the 2D and 3D for an entire exhibition.
Whilst I specialise in print I have vast experience in web graphics too allowing me to take an entire promotion out into the digital and printed community. -

Senior DesignerLiverpool, United KingdomMar 2014 - Present (10 years 8 months)Designer of exhibitions and marketing material for all museums under the National Museums Liverpool umbrella. These include Merseyside Maritime Museum, Museum of Liverpool, World Museum, Walker Art Gallery, Sudley house and Lady Lever Art Gallery. I have worked on such projects as Wondrous Place, Return of the Gods, Life on Board, Double Fantasy: John & Yoko, Ancient Egypt, Mayas: revelation of an endless time and Reel Stories.

Head DesignerPreston, United KingdomSep 2009 - Mar 2014 (4 years 6 months)I worked as a graphic designer for the international sportswear manufacturer Kukri Sports from 2009-2014. With 6 subsidiaries across the world producing kit for over 75 sports; being one of a small team of designers I developed in every area of design. From photography to web design I worked in every area within the company. I was recruited as a junior designer and made my way to manager within 3 years. My duties included the production of all printed media as well as the brand protector, ensuring the Kukri brand was viewed at a consistent level. On a daily basis I dealt with suppliers for printed materials preparing work for print, signing off proofs and arranging all costs were covered by the necessary party. With a full company re-brand under my belt I am beyond my years as a graphic designer.

Head DesignerSep 2008 - Sep 2009 (1 year)I worked full time with a small team on the production of advertisements for a local ad magazine called Keep Business Local. I produced static adverts ranging in sizes using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. My duties also consisted of some administration tasks and heading up a team of website programmers to build the website. This involved giving direction, inspiration and ensuring the task is completed on time.
