I also provided cross-divisional support for the Vancouver office (500 employees) as well as the smaller offices in the region and worked closely in developing the brand with the Brand Champion and global communication teams.
I designed and delivered effective and appropriate marketing collateral such as advertisements, brochures, newsletters, presentations, illustrations, trade show graphics and HTML mailers. Working with tight deadlines and budgets, I attended meetings to extract briefs, present concepts and advised clients on suitable formats/materials. I was also responsible for Art Directing and editing photography, sourcing cost quotes, providing print specifications, arranging production and liasing with photographers and printers.
July 2008 - Sept 2013
In addition to my Senior Design position, I was appointed a Brand Guardian within a year and played a key role in the design and roll-out of a new brand.
I ensured that a consistent visual identity was met throughout the business and provided support, education and creative solutions.
Often working independently, as well as part of a diverse team and alongside many non-creatives, my role required me to be a good communicator, pay close attention to detail, manage my time effectively, be highly creative, follow the company’s environmental policies and work with branding standards and guidelines.
As an active member of the company social committee (who organise large scale events and fundraisers throughout the year on a voluntary basis), I provided a range of graphic support for tickets, posters, websites and merchandise etc., as well as utilising my planning, organisation and communication skills to assist the team.
