As a recent Master of Architecture graduate and recipient of the Neutra Graduate Thesis Award from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, I am keen on starting my career through applying the knowledge I have gained these past three years in architecture, design and the “learn by doing” mentality. While more importantly, wanting to build on that knowledge through being enriched in real world architectural problem solving and design application.
Having graduated from Oregon State University with a Honors Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering as well as having passed my Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, I have a strong technical background which helps guide and brings forth design decisions that relates back to the building's technological, sustainable and structural integrity. However, combined with my creative aspirations for architecture and the built environment where form, function, materiality, aesthetics and the human connection are influential elements of design, I firmly believe that together, these two disciplines makes me a versatile, and advantageous addition to the design field.
