Kaneda Moko Museum

Set within downtown Los Angeles’ urban core, a
museum of kinetic objects housing a collection of toy robots,
antique guns and household objects like type writers, TV sets,
irons to bicycles from the 20th century will be exhibited along
side a temporary collections gallery. The site measures 120’
by 50’. The concept of the museums design is to convey
movement and flow through wrapping of solid and transparent
lines that integrates the outdoor spaces adjacent to the
museum. The outdoor space is design such that the plaza
remains a public space, independent of the museums hours of
operation, while connecting the Little Tokyo Mall to the street.
