Lily Freedman recently graduated with her BFA in Product Design at Parsons the New School for Design in New York City. She went to high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts, with a focus in drawing and sculpture, which she supplemented with classes in photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Parsons Paris. At Parsons, she discovered her passion for hands-on making, and for the rewarding process of giving physical form to an abstract idea. How she comes to the final product is just as important as the piece itself. Her style is refined, and meticulous, with hints of playfulness.
