Lidia Anna Koczyba-Sawicka

I am a graduate of Faculty of Industrial Design

at The Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (ASP Kraków).

In 2010 I gained the scholarship of Silesian Scholarship

Fund for the most talented students from Silesia province.

Outside the academy I had been projecting the jewellery

during practice and training in Jewellery Company of W.Kociuba. Meanwhile I learned a lot, and some of my projects have been implemented into produce and currently are on sale.



I am a finalist of Koizumi Lighting Competition. “Light Meadow” lamp project, realized with Joanna Nieć, under the authority of professor Piotr Bożyk. Our project gained not only the bronze award, but also gave a huge satisfaction, because the project was accompanied by massive heat, few little arguments and a lot of hard work.

I have 3 years of experience in the design of interactive exhibitions and the production design. Working both as a member of the project team and as a separate designer. I have often been successful. The experience gained in „Fabryka Dekoracji” company I consider to be an asset. Interactive exhibition projects require the designer’s imagination an the creative transfer of knowledge to develop wide vision of the topic which you want to explain to the children in a magical unconventional way by creating interesting scenography environment. In this task the knowledge of the latest multimedia devices is often helpful.

By Partner Ship Design I lerned a lot about the material solutions and design up to the smallest detail.

In my career I had an opportunity to design for big companies, public Museums and several Polish TV station. Examples of these projects can be found in my portfolio. Most of those projects are tenders or design competitions. Lot of them has been realized or become a base of future exhibitions. For my personal success, I consider winning a design competition „Edukatorium” Aqua Park in Tychy. Conceptual design study, which I prepared with my team, consists of 37 interactive stands, an interesting explore path and pro-social activities.
