I started in the area of design, post-production & project management since 2004; where I worked on a few high scale post-production projects before going independent while studying for degree programme.
As a student, I was voted as the Student Chairman of Degree Graduation Show and was awarded Best Studentship during the same year. As a professional in my early years, I started by piloting a game-show, Brand Warriors for Channel U and moved on to enter New York Festivals with other projects as a winner. After which, I joined Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 2007 as a full-time lecturer, guiding mostly in computer graphic skills, troubleshooting, creative process and project management.
Not forgetting my professional duties while in the educational schedules, I directed and supervised the visual displays for Heart Rock Concert “Come Together” in NDP (National Day Parade) '08 Celebrations. Simultaneously, I was tasked as the Project Manager for OKTO (Mediacorp) collaborative projects to pilot the birth of the channel with idents and computer animation projects. In 2009, I was appointed as the Chairperson and spokesperson for NAFA DM Diploma Show 2009 and 2010. I was re-appointed as Chairperson for NAFA DM (Diploma & Degree) Graduation Show in 2011. My last academic appointment was with the Singapore 2011 Biennale, as a Project Manager for Yamaguchi Akira Exhibition 'Singa-Planet' video project.
With my practical contacts and unique observation of facts and events, I returned to the film & broadcast industries in 2011 for a new relationship of learning, dialogue and challenge. During my expedition, I managed to secure notable accounts alike SONY-JPN, FOX Sports Central, NDP (National Day Parade) and more. These exposures from creative pitches, advertising agencies and production houses allowed me to gain better communicative and competitive solutions for the new growing trend of clients & media platforms.
