As a point of sale company, we work on a diverse line of products for many different clients. In doing so my job entails:
- Concept development in liaison with clients, our sales members and other team members.
- Building 3D digital models in Solidworks, with detailed part breakdown technical drawings for local and international manufacturing.
- Working with various materials such as steel, plastics, aluminium and timber.
- Designing for injection moulded parts and flat packable designs.
- Quality control checks of incoming products to ensure they meet our standards.
- Graphic design/checking client artwork is suitable for digital printing, screen printing and decals.
-Using and maintaining 3D Printer, as well as preparing and cleaning 3D prints for clients.

A work experience placement that came about for a fellow student and myself through Swinburne University connections.
We worked within their design team one day a week for roughly 5 months, helping with conceptualisation, CAD modeling, product testing and field visits.

As Active Display Group is a POS Display and Signage organisation, my work their involved conceptualising, CAD modeling, 3D rendering and logo design for various clients.
