2000 Beebull Engineering

Design and develop (OEM) instant electric water heater, responsibility including product appearance design, mechanical components design and conduct reliable tests. Successfully developed a new architecture platform that could generate several type of front facia design for different clients.

2002 Nova Design

Provide consultancy services for clients who are mainly the manufacturer of electrical home appliances, telecommunication devices or computer peripherals. Transferred to transportation design team to work on car and motorcycle design styling and modeling after 1 year in consumer product design team. Served clients who manufacture parts for face-lifted models in a certain markets, for instance, Toyota Land Cruiser for Dubai; Hyundai Santa Fe and Isuzu D-Max for China.

2004 Motorola

Design and develop high quality 2 way radio for government or enterprise sector. Lead the assigned project throughout the entire product development process including early phase design research, translate findings into design concept and transform concepts to a functional model prior to the detail engineering development. Received Motorola's top patent award in 2008, a recognition in successfully filed a number of patents within a specific time period.

2010 Hill-Rom

Work on healthcare and medical device – hospital bed and respiratory care device. Completed 2 major projects which were executed together with R&D team in Singapore, USA, and France. Supported respiratory care division exploring next-generation CPAP devices. 60% of focus in NPD and NPI projects, 40% in FEI projects. Conducted research in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic and Singapore Stanford Biodesign to study pressure ulcer prevention solutions for the emerging markets. Successfully built a test lab in partnership with Live Well Collaborative for conduct design validation test and field research. Received Hill-Rom

2015 ResMed

Joined the Research and Technology group (Center of Excellence - Textile) under sleep business division to design the textile components for the next series of CPAP masks. Work with external vendors to study the newly discovered textile material and manufacture technology. The outputs will be part of the inputs for the future product roadmap. Build prototypes and conduct prelim design validation tests before present the business case to the stakeholders.

2018 - concept design of an air pollution mask to prevent the trigger of asthma for Lakeside Engineering LLC

2019 - exterior and UI design of a social service robot for Solutar Pte. Ltd.

Completed Master of Business Administration from Northampton University (UK) in October 2016. Gained new knowledge in business development, strategic marketing, organizational behavioral, operation and finance management. In addition, learned different research methods for business to study consumer needs and analyze quantitative data using the statistical tool (SPSS).
