Loreto Eltit

Industrial Designer born and raised in Santiago Chile <3 I have been in Canada for over 6 years now. Fluent in English and Spanish. My experience in Design started in 2008, in design agencies, executing projects such as furniture, showrooms, corporate image development and product design; participating in different stages from creation and project management. The road got me working in Construction Management of Food Industry Buildings where I have learned a lot, and, looking forward to be back in Design projects.

As a designer, I am very curious and enjoy exploring, searching, trying, breaking and re building. I thrive on projects or ideas that allow me to play with new materials and processes that make me think differently, recently I have been exploring with clay and sketching any thoughts that come to me.

As an industrial designer, I’m able to expand my knowledge and adapt to other design fields, projects and multidisciplinary areas. I'm currently enrolled in Interior Design at BCIT to expand my knowledge even more.

I love my career and I’m very proactive, challenging myself always to something new where I´m able to collaborate with my creativity. I like to expand my understanding and involvement in areas like anthropology, nanotechnology, design and culture, design thinking, strategy and sustainability.

I have good communication skills and a good interaction with coworkers and clients. I´m always open minded to learn and give feedback with the group of people I work with.
