Fusion Plate
FUSION - This was the first project I developed on my own. From idea to sale. FUSION plate is designed by a gastronomic design need, where the focus was to enhance food presentation at specific gourmet spots in Santiago, as new conceptual restaurants were emerging in the city. The goal of FUSION is to keep the concept local. Built on a thick red cedar layer, it fuses with a thin and clean layer of mañio, local wood. A ceramic pot unifies this product ideal for soup or seafood dishes. It was sold in local design shop in Santiago. As part of productive process it involves CNC cutting machine, and hand assembling.
