Lawrence Chu is an award-winning Canadian Chinese Product Designer. He is a seasoned design strategist and has been helping companies with product planning throughout his career. His primary focus is to help brands to succeed in the marketplace by bridging innovations with their audience.
Chu’s designs have helped shape the growth of many companies in wide-ranging categories of B2B and B2C products. His area of expertise is primarily in Home Appliance, Consumer Electronics, Gifting & Premiums, Housewares and Lifestyle utility goods, Furniture, Audio Hi-Fi, and IoT designs where he has helped different business to obtain and grow their portfolio of proprietary patented design innovations.
Clients: Target, Pottery Barn, Wharfedale Hi-Fi, Mission Audio, Umbra, BISSELL Homecare, Google, Nixplay & Nixplay Signage, Merry Products Pet Goods, Dongfeng Automotive, G.O.D HK. He is also an active educator at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong School of Design where he lectures about design-thinking and the creative processes.
