I am currently working as a Graphic Designer for a national cheerleading company while earning my MFA in Graphic Design through the Academy of Art University. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Degree in Communication and a Minor in Graphic Design in June of 2012. I believe my experience and communication skills are just a couple of factors that would help me succeed at anything I do. My experiences throughout college show I cannot only manage my time effectively, but am also very competitive, goal driven and hardworking.
For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in Graphic Design. Through my first year at AmeriCheer I have continued to grow as an experienced Graphic Designer. While working at AmeriCheer I have perfected my skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. With this software I helped design advertisements for large Cheerleading publishing companies, brochures for AmeriCheer, Eastern and AmeriDance Camp and Competition departments and Design the Victory Wear clothing line and much more.
Throughout my four years at The Ohio State University I have been a member of the Varsity Lacrosse team. After making a commitment to both my future in Communication and Design, as well as to the sport and my teammates, I have developed exceptional organizational skills, responsibility and an ability to get things done under pressure. Involvement in a sport team has allowed me to balance a busy schedule, prioritize tasks, negotiate with others when needed and advocate for myself when conflicts have arisen.
