LARA, as a company and brand, was established by designer Louis A. Lara to bring to market products of his own design. This site will offer not only products that will be produced under the LARA brand but also selected designs he has created for his favorite manufacturing clients.

Since 1986 he has designed award winning projects for both European and domestic manufacturers as well as private individuals. Projects have included residential and contract furniture from case goods to seating, lighting, housewares, rugs, graphics, general product design and development as well as architectural and interior design projects. His designs are included in the permanent collections of design museums and have been published in innumerable design and trade publications as well as international design anthologies. Louis A. Lara's product designs are sold around the globe from the U.S. to Russia. They have appeared in dozens of major motion pictures as well as on the sets of today's most popular TV shows. -
