Lara Bernot

I am a 24 years old fashion student. I was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I graduated from the Secondary school of Art and I have a general direction baccalaureate art gymnasium in 2009. Following my graduation I was accepted at the Academy of Design in Ljubljana and currently I am working on a BA for a degree in fashion and textile design.

I am also working on two projects. The first one is my thesis, which is based on the reproduction of a Count's clothes from the 17th century. The second is costumography for the show Hobsons Choice. I also did costumography for three music videos: Kalaia, Leni Kravac and Lifecycle. During my academic years I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience through my formal studies. My priorities are making fashion sketches, gaining practical work experience in the artistic shop called »Flowers and gifts« and assisting fashion stylist Mateja Benedetti. Having a drawing skills background I feel it imparts on my inspirations towards my fashion design studies
