Tidows
Tidows is a modular laptop design project which tries to make laptop more sustainable. Tidows has several modular parts, they are screen, RAM, CPU, battery, sound card, graphic card, hard drive, keyboard, stand and main part. Compared with regular laptop, it is easier for users to replace broken parts, so that it could make lifetime of laptop longer. In addition, Tidows would use standardized connector for same kind of modular parts with different performance level. Therefore, users could update their laptop parts easily without buying a whole brand new laptop. In the meantime, users could sell those old parts as second-hand parts.
