Kristen Thompson

I am in charge of ordering new materials from vendors, organizing "Lunch + Learn" information sessions with material vendors, and checking out items to students and staff.

I work with the Director of Facilities to further campus sustainability efforts and building/renovation projects.

Assist designers with ff&e, construction documents, visioning, and other tasks. Perform research in collaboration with others in the office.

I created construction documents for new shops in Canada and created design plans for the corporate office expansion at the New York City location and the Armani 5th Avenue shop renovation. In addition, I updated the archive for all Armani shops in North America.

I worked with an interior design team leader and two other students to formulate a concept for the interior design of the three story building being proposed on campus. We collaborated with stakeholders and other divisions of the project team such as metrics and architecture. We finalized a detailed design plan for the building along with renderings, construction documents, and budget information for each floor and space. Finally, we presented all final ideas to the stakeholders.
