Krista Olson-Lehman

I work with Adobe CS to update and create marketing materials for the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education. My job has expanded my reach into marketing duties as well, and I am becoming familiar with marketing campaigns, Google Analytics, using Hootsuite for Social Media and SendGrid for email campaigns as well as collecting data on how our different marketing elements perform. I do 100% of our print and graphic design elements while assisting on photography and copyediting. I hace expanded to directing and shooting video, editing video, and managing video projects for different applications and social media. I create augmented reality programmed snapchat filters for our camps programs each Spring.

I regularly use Adobe CS suite in production of covers and interior pages of newspapers large and small nationwide. I work on both dailies and weeklies with multiple deadlines per day. Focus is on creative and eye catching design done with pressing deadlines. I also work on some feature sections for weekend editions.

I scoured our wire service daily for stories of importance, to take to our budget meetings and potentially pitch for 1A. I would gather content using TCMS, prep photos and graphics for print with Illustrator and Photoshop, copy edit stories and lay out pages using InDesign. I worked with a daily deadline.

* Experience collecting magazine style publications for print using Adobe software, while working on advertising rental magazines geared towards college students. Graphic design and Copy editing skillset used daily. Currently doing ad layout for the reporter and working on their "app" development for Android and iOS.

* Catalog layout, ad design, flyer design. Experience with Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and all aspects of collecting jobs for print using industry standards and Adobe standards. Copy writing, copy editing and product photography for catalogs.
