- Designed award winning products whilst at Nova design. IF award was given to NOVA Design for DHC-3000/2000/1000 LCD PCs which were based off my concept sketches and layouts. Red Dot award was given for DHC-3000 LCD PC.
- I led a small group of industrial designers in Shanghai and Taipei office to successfully design several products including an office telephone, refrigerator for Midea and I-pod accessories. In Shanghai I learned how to motivate younger Chinese designers by socializing with them outside of work. Prior to my involvement, the design team in Shanghai failed to deliver satisfactory results to their clients even after three attempts. After I got involved, only one attempt was needed to deliver acceptable results.

- Almost immediately upon arrival to Panasonic in 2001, I started making producible designs. My first TV project was CT13R37S – a small tube TV which was produced and sold in the U.S. market 8 months after I arrived at Panasonic.
- Continued to successfully produce TV products (flat tube TVs, round tube TVs, LCD TVs, large screen projection TVs and remote controllers) for North American and South American markets. Some Flat Screen TV’s which I designed include: PT-52LCX65/PT-61LCX65 DLP TVs, PT-53TW53 PTV, PT-53W53 CRT Projection TV and PT-60DL54/PT-50DL54 TV stands.
- Coordinated projects with parts vendors, mockup makers and brand research specialists. This was my first experience in dealing with secondary parties. I learned a lot about handing out good specifications to model makers and fixing reasonable delivery dates. By dealing with speaker cloth vendors, I learned how to critique samples and request modifications.
- Executed market research by visiting stores, talking to customers and store owners. In one instance I reported to my managers several store locations where Panasonic display TVs were not plugged in, henceforth, customers were not able to evaluate Panasonic TV by its picture quality. Soon after my report, the TVs were plugged back in at the store locations and displayed in the appropriate manner.
- Created packaging artwork and UI graphics for TV products
