+ Design and fabricate vinyl and composite aesthetic parts for contemporary German automobiles
+ Developed brand identity including website, packaging, and stationary to communicate target core competencies to customers and enthusiasts

+ Lead industrial design work for multi-purpose tools as a member of marketing and advanced development teams. Also collaborate with FreeRange PDX on products for new markets to ensure brand authenticity
+ Progress with projects throughout the entire design process from ideation to production CAD. This includes close work with mechanical engineers and vendors to ensure details and alterations support design intent
+ Utilize surfacing methods to evolve form factors for formed sheet metal components. Direct collaboration with engineering and tooling designers has led to innovative new part construction methods
+ Conduct VOC, trade show research, and create trend analyses to inform product briefs, QFDs, design, coloration, and marketing messaging

+ Designed power wheelchairs and scooters for those with disabilities or in rehabilitative situations
+ Utilized extensive Solidworks modeling to create production-ready components and conceptual prototypes
+ Collaborated directly with engineering to confirm part manufacturability, structural details, and target costs
+ Conducted frequent primary research with mobility product stakeholders such as technicians and clinicians to extract design opportunities and constraints which influenced both usability and aesthetics
+ Attended various automotive and motorcycle shows to extract influential design inspiration

+ Provided project support for the International Experience Design Group team on next-generation enterprise products with a focus on innovative ideation, consumer and trend research, usability, and prototyping
+ Close collaboration with Dell’s marketing, engineering, usability, CMF (colors, materials, and finishes), and photography teams as well as consultancies enhanced understanding of the complete design process
+ Led the design of conceptual home server and server graphic customization projects while reviewing progress and receiving critiques from Dell’s in-house and international design teams

+ Worked with the internal design team in collaboration with client marketing and engineering resources to develop innovative consumer products, including a production juvenile car seat
+ Conducted research, utilized extensive sketching, constructed foam and CAD models, and developed presentation renderings
+ Gained exposure and interest to professional graphic design and brand strategy
