Kirsty Whyte, has experience as a freelance homeware, upholstery, furniture, lighting and product designer. As well as working for retailers like Habitat, BHS, Heals, Normann Copenhagen and MADE Kirsty also runs her own design brand and studio.
From August 2011 - September 2012. Working as a Designer and Product Manager for Made.com from their Shanghai office.
From September 2012 - Onwards. Working as a Designer and Product Manager for Made.com for Upholstery, Furniture, Textiles and accessories from their London Head Office.
Specialties: Furniture design, glass design.
3d renderings and visualisations using, AUTO CAD, Rhino, Solidworks.
2D visualisations using all Adobe Master collection, specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Photography direction and styling. -

Final products were produced by Kosta Boda and exhibited at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2004. I was invited as a guest post graduate student in the first year of an now very successful Erasmus scheme.

Design Product Manager - Upholstery, Furniture, Lighting, Textiles and Accessoriesmade.comSep 2012 - Present (12 years 2 months)In September 2012 relocated back to London after being based in the MADE Shanghai office for 13 months. Where Kirsty worked directly with manufacturers and suppliers.
Now working directly in the creative team with Chloe Macintosh the Creative Director. With frequent trips back to China, Vietnam and India.
Responsible for sourcing and Buying product. Developing designs with other designers for manufacture within upholstery, textiles and Decorative Accessories (Mirrors, vases etc).
In addition working on in-house briefs; designing for accessories, furniture and upholstery divisions.
Other roles : co-ordinating product samples and product photoshoots, for the MADE website and marketing campaigns. -
